Frequently asked questions
- I paid for something and it is gone. How do I restore it?
-
Tap RESTORE PURCHASES. It sits at the bottom of the store, and in Settings on the pause menu. You will be asked to sign in to your Apple Account, and anything you have already bought that can be restored is put back on that device.
One thing to know: crystal packs are consumable purchases. Like coins in an arcade, they are spent once and Apple does not restore them. The starter bundle is a one-off purchase and is restored. If you spend crystals and then reinstall the game, the crystals you already spent stay spent — but any crystals you bought and did not spend come back, because your balance is kept in your own iCloud (see new device). Things bought with crystals are not Apple purchases, so RESTORE PURCHASES does not bring them back — they are part of your save, which travels with Apple's own device backup, like the rest of your phone's contents (see new device).
If RESTORE PURCHASES does not bring back a purchase you believe should come back, email us — include the date of the purchase and what you bought. Please do not send us a receipt with your full address or card details on it; we do not need them and cannot use them.
- Can I get a refund?
-
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We never see your payment details and we have no way to issue a refund ourselves.
To ask Apple for one, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose I'd like to → Request a refund, pick a reason, pick the purchase, and submit it. Apple decides; eligibility can differ by country. Apple's instructions: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.
If a purchase failed, charged twice, or did not arrive in the game, tell us as well — that may be a bug we should fix.
- I am a parent. How do I stop or approve purchases?
-
Everything is bought through Apple, so Apple's own controls work here.
- Ask to Buy (Family Sharing): your child's purchase requests come to you for approval before anything is bought. In some countries it is on by default and cannot be turned off for under-18s. See Approve what your child can purchase and download with Ask to Buy.
- Turn purchases off completely with Screen Time — block In-app Purchases. The menu names vary by iOS version; on recent iOS: Settings → Screen Time → Apps and Websites → App Store → In-app Purchases → Blocked; on older iOS: Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases → In-app Purchases → Don't Allow. See Apple's step-by-step instructions.
- Require a password every time for purchases, in the same Screen Time settings.
The game itself never asks for a name, an email address or any personal detail, has no chat and no way for players to send each other anything. See the privacy policy.
- How do I reset my progress?
-
Version 1.0 has no "reset progress" button inside the game. Deleting the app is the reset: press and hold the app icon, choose Remove App → Delete App, and your save goes with it — install the game again from the App Store and you start fresh.
One thing can still bring progress back afterwards: the game's save sits in the part of the app's storage that Apple's device backups normally include, so restoring your iPhone or iPad from an iCloud Backup or a computer backup made earlier can bring the old progress back with it. That is Apple's backup system, not something we run — we have no copy of your save and cannot delete or restore one for you.
Two things are not ours to delete in any case: your Game Center achievements and leaderboard scores (kept by Apple — manage them in Settings → Game Center), and your crystal balance, which sits in your own iCloud and follows your Apple Account. Deleting the app does not spend or refund crystals you have already bought.
- I got a new iPhone or iPad. Does my progress come with me?
-
Your crystals arrive by themselves: the crystal balance sits in your own iCloud, and RESTORE PURCHASES in the store puts back anything restorable you bought, like the starter bundle. Your Game Center achievements and leaderboard scores are held by Apple and follow your Apple Account too.
Your saved progress itself — unlocks, upgrades, run history, settings — moves the way the rest of your phone's contents move: Apple's own device backup. Back up the old device (an iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer), restore the new device from that backup, and the save comes back with everything else.
- What does Game Center do here?
-
Game Center is Apple's service. If you are signed in to it, the game reports your achievements and your survival time to Apple's leaderboards so you can compare with other players. That is Apple's system and Apple's data — we only hand it a score.
You can play the whole game on your own without it — only playing with friends needs it. Sign out or turn it off in Settings → Game Center on your device; nothing in the solo game locks behind it.
- Is there multiplayer?
-
Yes — you can play together with friends. Invite a Game Center friend, play with someone in the same room, or share one of Apple's party codes. It all runs through Apple's Game Center, between the players' own devices: no game server of ours is involved, and the game never matches you with strangers.
There is no chat and no way to send anything to another player — the only things that travel between players are the game itself and the name each player already has in Game Center. Parents can turn multiplayer off with Apple's Screen Time settings. What this means for privacy is in the privacy policy.
- Something is broken, or the game crashes.
-
Please tell us. Include your device (for example "iPhone 15"), your iOS version, the game version from the App Store, and what you were doing when it happened. We do not collect crash reports automatically, so a message from you is genuinely the only way we find out.
- What age is this game for?
-
Apple rates it 13+. The fighting is cartoon — monsters, no blood, no gore, no scary realism, no swearing — but there is a lot of it, and the weapons fire for the whole game, so the honest rating is 13+ rather than 9+. It is not made for children under 13 and is not published in the App Store Kids Category. Parents: see purchase controls above.
